BERSAMA

Established in 1971, the long-running BERSAMA exercise series aims to reinforce the ties and enhance the interoperability between the founding members of the Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA) - Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom, by extending the knowledge of each other’s tactics and operational staff procedures.

The exercises incorporates integration training, air, land and maritime field training exercises, live fire serials and staff officer training including a command post exercises, providing an invaluable opportunity for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel from Navy, Army and Air Force to exercise in the region.
