The Navy and Regional Engagement

This volume is the proceedings of a workshop held in 1994, which provides a rarely seen perspective of the security aspects of regional engagement, examining: the strategic environment, foreign and defence policy, international law, and defence industry. It also provides a RAN perspective, highlighting the extent of its involvement in the region as well as some of the challenges associated with its contribution to Australia’s security policy.
